8A STARS CONTRACT
Reston, Va., July 21, 2004 - Silicon Spirit
Consulting Group, Inc., a global business and IT
consulting firm, announced today that it was awarded the
new 8(a) STARS (Streamlined Technology Acquisition
Resources for Services) contract by the General Services
Administration's Small Business Government Wide
Acquisition Contract Center. The base period of
performance is from June 1, 2004 through June 1, 2007.

disadvantaged businesses. This contract vehicle will
empower us to reach more government clients and allow us

8(a)
STARS is a multiple award, indefinite delivery,
indefinite quantity contract vehicle. Previously called
FAST, the program is designed to help small businesses
compete for federal contracts, gives federal agencies a
list of qualified companies who can meet their
information technology services requirements. Agencies
that use the STARS contracts receive 8(a) credit toward
