Appian Developers, Remote Positions

Silicon Spirit Consulting Group, a premier Digital Transformation consulting firm in Reston, VA is looking for Appian developers for client engagement across the U.S. Candidate must be a permanent resident of the United States.

Candidate must have 5+ years experience in large projects and at least 2 years with Appian and the following credentials

  • Appian Level 1 Developer certification
  • Overall Appian Design experience
  • Custom Data Types
  • Records and Reports
  • Process Modeling
  • Site and Temp
  • SAIL expressions and templates
  • Decisions, Rules
  • Agile Methodolgy

In addition, the candidate will be prefered to have experience with one or more of the following areas:

  • Java
  • RPA
  • AI/Analytics/Document Extraction

Sr. J2EE Developer, Remote Position

Silicon Spirit Consulting Group, a premier Digital Transformation consulting firm in Reston, VA is looking for a J2EE developer for a long-term government contract in Maryland. Candidate must be a permanent resident of the United States and have had an MBI clearance in the past 2 years.

Candidate must have 7+ years experience in large projects using 5 or more of the following technologies or methodologies:

  • Overall J2EE knowledge
  • CICD/Jenkins
  • Angular J
  • Spring Core, Spring Batch, Spring JMS, REST
  • JUnit
  • Maven
  • CVS/RTC/GitHub
  • Agile Methodolgy

In addition, the candidate should have experience with one or more of the following application servers:

  • JBoss
  • SpringBoot
  • Tomcat

Government IT Senior Sales/Business Development

Silicon Spirit Consulting Group is an 8A SDB IT firm currently establishing itself in the government sector. This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Sales Executive to grow a small firm with a tremendous "upside".

Requirements/Profile:

  • Strong understanding of Federal Government trends and buying practices.
  • Strong track record generating and closing business opportunities with government agencies.
  • Strong track record of generating and closing subcontracting opportunities with prime contractors.
  • Proven successful track record with annual quotas in excess of $2 million.
  • Preferred knowledge and experience with Government Appropriations and contracting process.
  • Owns a "rolodex" of relationships that will help to develop, maintain, and leverage appropriate strategic alliances within the marketplace. This includes consultants, lobbyists, and Government agencies (i.e. HLS, DOD, HHS etc.) Expands existing relationships and build new ones.
  • Active involvement in the Government industry, trade and/or professional associations.
